This Cookie Policy describes how we use cookies and similar technologies on the Site, together with our Privacy Policy. Under U.S. state laws (including California’s CCPA/CPRA), some uses of cookies and similar identifiers may be described as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use cookies on this Site for cross-context behavioral advertising or for sale of personal information.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site save a small amount of data on your device. Pixels or tags may be used by embedded content to communicate with a third-party server.
2. What we use today on this Site
2.1 Essential / strictly necessary (local storage)
When you click “Accept all” or “Reject” on our cookie banner, our script stores your choice in your browser using localStorage under the key cookiesAccepted with a value of true or false. This remembers that you have responded so we do not show the banner on every page load. This storage is first-party (set by our Site) and is used only to record your preference.
Analytics: Our public site script does not load third-party advertising or analytics trackers. If we add optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy and the banner before any new collection begins.
2.2 Fonts and icons (third-party resources)
Our stylesheet loads fonts from Google Fonts and icon fonts from the Remix Icon CDN. When your browser requests those files, those providers may receive technical data such as your IP address and the page URL. Their use is governed by their respective privacy policies.
2.3 Maps (third-party link)
The Contact page includes a link that opens our mailing address in Google Maps in a new browser tab. If you use that link, Google’s privacy policy applies to information collected by Google.
2.4 Marketing cookies
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies on this Site for our own campaigns.
3. Duration
Session cookies (if any are set by the server) expire when you close your browser. localStorage entries persist until you clear site data in your browser or we change the key. You can delete stored data through your browser settings.
4. Your choices
- Banner: Use “Accept all” or “Reject” on the cookie banner. Either choice dismisses the banner and stores your preference as described above.
- Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking all cookies may affect how the Site looks or works.
- Industry tools: Some third parties offer opt-outs for interest-based ads (for example, the NAI or DAA tools). We do not currently use covered interest-based advertising cookies on this Site; these tools are listed for your general information.
5. California and other U.S. states
Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising through cookies as described in the CPRA, we do not offer a separate “Do Not Sell or Share” link beyond the controls described here and in our Privacy Policy. If our practices change, we will update this Cookie Policy and provide any link or mechanism required by law.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change our technologies or legal obligations. The “Last updated” date will change when we post a new version.
